The Story

Hi! This is Mya Herondale, an oftentimes aggressive feminist, admittedly pretentious lover of all things art, seamstress in self-training, a student of history for the moment, and an avid fangirl forever, who is always ready to rant about topics that actually interest her. From these rants only 'Abhiruchi' was born, in hopes that things that fuel me might inspire in others exploration of their passions too. For, remember, you do not need to excel at things you like to enjoy them.

A bit ABOUT ME

Leather-bound journals stained with pen inks. Handwritten letters sealed with wax stamps. Stitching with velvet, satin and silk. Warm cake with unsweetened coffee. Leather gloves and wide brimmed hats. Warm hugs from my mother that last hours. Corsets, distressed denims and leather jackets. Dead languages, mythology and classical literature. History and all things fantasy. Equality for all and caring for environment. Sketching imaginary creatures with charcoal. Dusty book piles and classical movies. The idea of running barefoot in old castles. Vintage mirrors…rather vintage everything…these are a few of my favorite things.
